Holiday Campaign
DESIGN DIRECTION
Tiffany & Co. the American luxury jewelry and specialty design house headquartered on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan approached Anomaly to concept five short 15s films for the holidays as well as a print and social campaign. Tiffany has a reputation for excellence, particularly its sterling silver and diamond jewelry.
It has been an honor for me to work on such an iconic brand that has been part of American history for over a century. I led design for the campaign and parts of the creative conception, inspired by the iconic work of Gene Moore who was a pioneer in the design of American Window displays.
Working entirely in CGI with the amazing CGI artists at Tendril:
The campaign is featured all around the United States in key retail cities.
The holiday campaign being a successful first collaboration with Tiffany,
we also got briefed on Lunar New Year. The year of the snake being a symbol of eternity and love, I wanted to symbolize it with a Snake-like constellation interacting with our lock. Creating a symbol of infinite communion. It all started from a simple pen and paper Post-it note drawing with a snake-headed-infinite symbol that I kept going back to. Grateful for it to have come to life with the incredible render and animation from Tendril.
As part of the conceptual exploration for both campaigns, I also experimented with AI (Midjourney, Runway, Krea) to visualize ideas before gearing up for production. Exploring material renders and illustrating our briefs with boundary pushing executions. I created over 500 renders embellished by hand, transforming the exploratory practice into expertise. Working on this project has also allowed for me to be elected as member of the Anomaly Global Network AI Council and be the lead representative for visual generative AI at Anomaly Los Angeles.
