Hello, I am Benoit Ollive,
I am currently working as Creative Design Director at Anomaly Los Angeles & New York.
I have always pushed myself very hard to create work that is unique, explores mixed media, questions the principles of design and connects people through narrative. I use my own hyper-sensibility as an advantage to make people feel intimate with the creative outcome. My ultimate life purpose is to make every day count, so I am never taking breaks. If not at the office, I work on my own projects as an artist. I always make a point to focus on quality and execution. Never afraid to get my hands dirty in the true meaning of the term. I was born and worked in France for a bit, then moved to England, Germany, Asia and recently America. Working with creatives from Advertising to Product Design, Architecture, Film and Art galleries, in roles including Creative Director, Sr. Art Director, Designer, both Artist and Curator, over the past 13 years.

Currently working as the design lead on Vans and Hoka. And have been lead on Meta Quest, Masterclass, Facebook, Diet Coke, Cruise, Johnnie Walker, Sonos, Dove, Nordstrom, Sally Hansen and previously partnering on the global Converse account with now GCD Jane Cronk. We made the Converse Forever Chuck campaign reaching 190 million users worldwide and winning a Bronze lion for film craft in Cannes and a Clios branded content Bronze award. Converse Rated One Star celebrating the anti-hero also had worldwide resonance on social media and on the streets. Launched the first global brand campaign for Sally Hansen, highlighting self-made women. Launched a couple of 360 campaigns for Sonos to promote their new A-game speakers. We recently launched the first app that uses Artificial Intelligence to draw portraits for Nordstrom and got an FWA of the day and a nomination at the awwwards for it. But wait, there’s more coming.

EXTRAS
I am currently helping out young type designers by participating in a monthly critique session every first Thursday of the month at the New York Type Directors Club. I am involved with intercultural collaboration around typography and branding, currently working with the embassy of Korea on a show that bonds cultures. Since 2008 I have volunteered to raise awareness to homelessness, the development of art workshops by leading free creative workshops for children in disadvantaged areas. I have also done art auctions and live performances to raise funds for charitable associations.
