There’s a stigma around Diet Coke – people say it’s a mom’s drink. We say, lucky us.
To recruit the adulting aspirer & differentiate the Diet Coke brand from competitors, we tapped into our audience’s life phases. Celebrating people who unapologetically embrace their full identity, despite a culture of shoulds. Diet Coke is for people who confidently embrace their truth and live how they want to live. The films celebrate unapologetic icons who live life on their own terms – with a Diet Coke in hand.
Partnering with Director duo Los Perez, we flew to Barcelona to make 3 spots, each of them celebrating an icon. Moms who do it all – did it first –and do it with a Diet Coke in hand. Old people who do whatever they want, have done it way longer than you, and do it with a Diet Coke. Nerds who solve the world’s most complex problems and make it look easy with a Diet Coke in hand.
